Job Title: Duck Creek Technical Lead (Platform Upgrade)
Work Location: Edison, NJ (Hybrid - Onsite)
Technical Skills (Primary):
- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations during upgrade.
- A strong background in Duck Creek and has worked in a platform upgrade, a deep understanding of upgrade processes, and experience with troubleshooting complex issues.
- Technical expertise in:
A) Configuration and extension of Duck Creek Policy 7x.
B) Development of ManuScript based configuration using EXAMPLE Author
C) Debugging tools like data tester, tsv, trace, SQL profiler, .NET debugger, xsl debugging
D) XSL configuration
E) Data base configuration including and not restricted to creating and modifying SPs, views, functions, tables etc.
F) In depth knowledge of downstream systems such as DI
G) Experience working in Express 3
- Understanding of Cloud architecture and has experience working in cloud systems.
- Lead the end-to-end process for software upgrades, from initial planning and scheduling to execution and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain detailed upgrade roadmaps, schedules, and resource plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Monitor system performance during and after upgrades, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly, and upgrades meet performance standards.
- Work closely with QA teams to design and execute testing procedures for upgraded systems, verifying functionality, security, and compatibility.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that arise during upgrade testing phases.
